Student OrganizationsAssociation for Computing Machinery (ACM)The ACM is the oldest organization supporting the activities of computing professionals. The University of Idaho Student Chapter was formed in 1984. It has active student participation and regular meetings open to all who are interested in participating. Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers (IEEE)The University of Idaho's Student IEEE chapter is a student organization for Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, and Computer Science students. The chapter has a monthly meeting which is announced via email and fliers. In addition the chapter provides several activities each semester, ranging from ski trips to guest speakers to rafting trips to hydroelectric facility tours. at Lehigh University in 1885. The University of Idaho Chapter recognizes undergraduate
